CIFOR-ICRAF is becoming Landscape Alliance. The challenges facing our world do not exist in isolation. Climate, biodiversity, food systems, livelihoods and economic development are all connected. Our new name reflects an approach built around that reality. Landscape means seeing the whole picture. Forests, farms, soil, water, biodiversity, communities and economies, and understanding how they depend on one another. Alliance means acting together, because systemic problems demand collective solutions. Landscape Alliance means we are ready to do both: understand the whole system and move the right people in the same direction.
