How much can you learn about a place in 48 hours?

In less than 48 hours, Colleagues from ActionAid Denmark travel through Maiduguri, meeting communities, young people, women leaders, government partners, and grassroots organisations. What appears to be a brief visit reveals years of impact, trust, and transformation built through partnership. From powerful conversations with the University of Maiduguri, United Nations OCHA UN Women, government ministries and stakeholders, to climate action discussions with the Borno State Agency for the Great Green Wall... From visits to our incredible partners CATAI and HALI, to engaging with youth movements, student unions, youth groups, alumni networks, and grassroots leaders... From witnessing the impact of our Safe Spaces to listening to women, young people, and communities leading change on their own terms... We sat with partners who have stayed the course. We listened to women who have turned survival into leadership. We met young people who refuse to inherit the limits placed before them. We heard from institutions, movements, student leaders, community members and stakeholders all working, in their own ways, toward the same horizon. There were handshakes, hard questions, shared meals, long drives, laughter, stories, and the kind of conversations that rarely make it into reports. Swipe through to see a glimpse of a journey through partnership, possibility, and the quiet work of people who continue to build, even when the world is not watching. #48HoursAThousandStories #actionaidnigeria #actionaiddenmark #strategicpartnershipagreement #CommunityLedChange #YouthPower #womenleadership #ClimateAction #NorthEastNigeria #PartnershipInAction #citizensaction
