Meta is profiting off of Facebook Scams
Meta made $14.3 million from Medicare scammers running scam ads on Facebook and Instagram.
That profit came at a cost to real people – mostly American seniors.
Meta already has the tools to detect and remove scam ads. Yet scammers continue to buy access to millions of vulnerable users, often paying premium rates to reach them.
