Kids and Diabetes in Schools - Diabetes is not a limit
Sabrina Sosa, a Young Leader in Diabetes from Mexico, shares what living with type 1 diabetes really looks like — from checking glucose levels and managing highs and lows to balancing sports, school, emotions, and everyday life.
For children and young people living with diabetes, understanding and support at school can make all the difference. Through the Kids and Diabetes in Schools programme, we are helping to create safer, more inclusive school environments where children with diabetes can thrive without stigma. Because diabetes is more than numbers. It’s about empowerment, education, and support.
