This video showcases the beauty of the Anywaa Biosphere Reserve located in Gambella Regional State, Ethiopia. On 27 September 2025 the reserve was inscribed by UNESCO as a member of its World Network of Biosphere Reserves under the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme, which is designed to show a sustainable relationship between people and nature.
The achievement is the culmination of extensive collaborative effort by Farm Africa, the Embassy of Sweden, MELCA Ethiopia, Ethiopia's federal, regional and local government bodies and the Anywaa community.
