Climate change is creating new challenges for financial institutions and the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) they serve. Understanding and managing climate-related risks is becoming increasingly important for banks, microfinance institutions (MFIs) and insurers seeking to strengthen resilience and support sustainable economic development. In this webinar, Diana Chepng’eno, Africa and Middle East Coordinator for the UNEP-managed V20 Sustainable Insurance Facility (V20-SIF), moderates a discussion with experts from the banking and bancassurance sectors on the implications of climate risk for financial institutions, their clients and their business strategies.
