In this webinar, the Global and Asia-Pacific Regional Coordinators of the UNEP-managed V20 Sustainable Insurance Facility (V20-SIF) speak with insurance industry leaders from across the region to explore the significant barriers limiting access to climate-smart insurance for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in climate-vulnerable countries. The discussion examines practical solutions to the "insurance last mile" challenge, including how insurers, policymakers and development partners can expand insurance protection, strengthen resilience and support sustainable economic development in vulnerable nations. The V20 Sustainable Insurance Facility (V20-SIF) is implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme's Principles for Sustainable Insurance (PSI) in collaboration with the Munich Climate Insurance Initiative (MCII), in response to priorities identified by the Vulnerable Twenty (V20) Group of Finance Ministers.
