From Farm to Bowl: Small Ingredients, Big Impact

In the vast Sahel region, access to food isn’t the only challenge. Ensuring adequate nutrition is just as critical. This video shows how the UN World Food Programme (WFP) and its partners are working with communities to improve nutrition. Through local nutrition sessions, families are learning how to turn affordable, locally grown ingredients into nutritious meals. A simple porridge, made from millet or sorghum enriched with groundnuts, moringa, lemon, and tamarind is helping transform diets, improve health, and give children a stronger start in life.
