In March, Melbourne hosted the Women Deliver Conference for the first time in the Oceanic Pacific region, bringing together more than 6,000 delegates from 189 countries. For CARE, it was an important opportunity to connect with partners, donors and peers, and to amplify the work we do alongside women and girls across the Asia‑Pacific and globally. Our delegation brought together staff and partners from across the Pacific, Asia, Africa and the United States, sharing lived experience, technical expertise and perspectives that are too often missing from global conversations. From climate justice to youth leadership and sexual and reproductive health and rights, CARE colleagues and partners contributed to key discussions throughout the week.
