This week the 30th Human Development Report launched, with a warning: we have taken the Earth to the brink. Addressing the impacts of the Age of Humans is a universally shared challenge. In Sudan, floods, expanding desert areas, and other environmental changes risk peace, access to food and water, and people’s health, lives and livelihoods. But, we also have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to live in balance with the planet. Today, UNEP Sudan’s Atila Uras highlights the challenge we face and the solutions that exist.
