A tutorial on the recent improvements and functionalities related to the query tool in the QSAR Toolbox version 4.8. This is the first in a series of video tutorials showing this functionality. In this session, we will introduce the query tool and demonstrate how to apply the query tool to search for specific data relate to ecotoxicity: in particular, finding aldehydes with experimental evidence of high aquatic toxicity. The QSAR Toolbox includes a query tool that allow for complex and flexible searches on the databases. We will guide you through the options and use of the query tool and present an example for searching substances of a particular chemical class (aldehydes) with experimental values in a specific range. By the end of this tutorial, you will be equipped with the knowledge to effectively use this feature.
