Orlando Malacaste, a 58-year-old father, struggles to rebuild his life after a rain-induced landslide devastates Barangay Masara, Maco, Davao de Oro, killing 98 people, including his wife and eldest daughter, and displacing over 2,400 families. Miraculously, his youngest daughter, Sheena, is found alive after being buried for 60 hours. The Malacaste family, now living in a temporary tent shelter, receives aid from Action Against Hunger and USAID. Despite the loss, Orlando remains hopeful, prioritizing his daughters' education and planning to return to work as a security guard, drawing strength from his surviving children.
