Rural-urban connections: Taking stock from the OECD Latin American Rural Development Conference
Drawing on the discussions from the OECD Latin American Rural Development Conference, this workshop will be subdivided into the following three sessions:
1. Understanding and leveraging mutual benefits: new ways to measure rural-urban connections
2. How agrifood, tourism, bioeconomy and circular systems provide prosperity in urban and rural places
3. Leveraging AI, innovation and investment to build rural-urban connected systems
Due to technical difficulties, neither the introduction by Shayne MacLachlan (Communication and Public Affairs Manager, OECD/CFE) nor the opening remarks by Dorothée Allain-Dupré (Head of the Regional Development and Multi-level Governance Division, OECD/CFE) were recorded.
