Adopting a Standardised Approach to Biodiversity Reporting for a Nature-Positive Energy Transition
Are we ready to move beyond compliance? As renewables and grids scale up, biodiversity reporting must become clearer, more credible and more comparable. Today’s landscape is still fragmented - multiple frameworks, evolving standards, and rising expectations from investors and regulators.
On 11 March (14:00-15:00 CET), GINGR – Global Initiative for Nature, Grids and Renewables and The Biodiversity Consultancy Ltd held a webinar on what a more harmonised, robust approach to biodiversity reporting can look like in practice.
Speakers - including Rachel Asante-Owusu from the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Dr. Paris Stefanoudis from The Biodiversity Consultancy - discussed how environmental reporting can actively support a Nature-Positive, People-Positive transition in the offshore wind and the wider energy sector.
