Rich Yeboah explains what it takes to be a good community facilitator

Rich Yeboah emphasizes humility and respect in his work as a community facilitator in Ghana. Community facilitators (sometimes called CLMRS agents when integrated within Child Labour Monitoring and Remediation Systems) provide guidance and support, raise awareness of the dangers of child labour and help identify children who are in, or at risk of, child labour in cocoa growing communities. CLMRS are child-centred support systems designed to identify children in, or at risk of, child labour. Through regular engagement with communities, CLMRS agents build trust and can enable households to change their behaviour in ways that better protect children from child labour.
