The Global Far Right: Networks, Narratives, and Power Far-right movements do not grow in isolation. They learn from one another, share tools and narratives, and connect across borders - often faster than those trying to counter them. What once looked like national scenes are now tightly linked ecosystems, spanning online platforms, creator networks, funding channels, and real-world mobilization. This panel brings together researchers and investigative journalists who have been tracking these networks up close. They will share concrete findings and case studies that show how today’s far right collaborates internationally, how digital spaces and realpolitik reinforce each other, and how moments of crisis, culture wars, and platform dynamics are deliberately exploited. What has changed in recent years, what is still widely misunderstood, and where do democratic societies - and institutions - remain exposed. What actually works when confronting transnational far-right movements? From transparency and accountability to research, and cross-border cooperation, the speakers will discuss responses that move beyond awareness toward impact.
