The “lifecycle approach” ensures that no one is left behind, even when unanticipated events happen. Tameo, a young girl from Xiengkhouang province was faced with the sudden onset of a disability, requiring surgery and regular medical treatments. Her family utilised social welfare benefits to manage the financial burden, with the benefits providing essential relief and maintaining stability.
