Restoring communities through decent work | ILO emergency response in Lebanon
As part of the ILO emergency response to the recent crisis in Lebanon, this video showcases how women and men in Beirut and the Metn district are improving public spaces through short-term employment opportunities. Their work is helping municipalities enhance essential services, support communities hosting displaced families, and contribute to local recovery.
The intervention is implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO) under the Employment-Intensive Infrastructure Programme (EIIP), funded by the German Government through KfW Development Bank.
