Egypt’s leather tanning sector is an important pillar of Egypt’s industrial landscape. Through the ILO project “Productivity Ecosystems for Decent Work in Egypt”, the sector is working to enhance productivity, improve the conditions, and strengthen its competitiveness in local and international markets.
