In partnership with the Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs, the EU-funded ENABLE Programme—implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO) with the Lebanese NGO NAHNOO—organized 10 biking sessions in Horsh Beirut 🌳🚴‍♂️ The sessions held between August and Novembre 2025, aimed to open up public spaces for everyone and promote greener, more sustainable ways to move around the city. Built on the rehabilitation of a 1.7 km bike lane inside the park, this initiative also created short-term job opportunities through employment-intensive approaches—supporting both people and infrastructure. People of all ages and backgrounds came together to ride, connect, and enjoy a safe and inclusive space. The sessions encouraged healthy lifestyles, community engagement, and environmentally friendly habits.
