Organised by the OSH Council of North Macedonia and supported by the EU-funded ILO project "Towards a healthy and safe working environment in North Macedonia", the conference on 28 April, 2026 brought together institutions, employers, trade unions, and international experts to send one clear message: Workplace safety must include both physical and mental health. The ILO project aims to promote the fundamental right to a safe and healthy workplace by aligning national legislation and systems with EU directives and ILO conventions. Through capacity building, legislative reform, institutional strengthening, and awareness-raising, the project supports sustainable improvements in occupational safety and health (OSH) nationwide.
