As part of Plan International Ethiopia’s #GirlsTakeover initiative marking the International Day of the Girl 2025, Bethlehem Niguse took over the role of Her Excellency Annelies Verstichel, Ambassador of Belgium to Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Permanent Representative to the AU, IGAD, and UNECA, stepping into leadership for a day and gaining firsthand experience in diplomacy, gender equality, and international cooperation.
