📌 At the age of 20, Teacher Pheakdey was determined and overcame her fear to teach at a remote primary school on an island in Stung Treng province, bordering Laos. 🙌🏽 The teacher’s dedication and hard work over the past 10 years as a teacher and principal ensure that children on the island can access knowledge, complete education, and speak and use the Khmer language. ✨ With the support of Safe Schools Project, the teacher continues to work hard and develop schools to ensure that schools and children are resilient to disasters and have a safe learning environment. #PlanInternationalCambodia #safeschools #lifelonglearning
