When an outbreak hits, the first days are the hardest. Disease spreads quickly, hospitals are overwhelmed, and building a proper treatment facility can take weeks — a window where preventable deaths rise. INITIATE² was created to close this deadly gap by delivering easily deployable critical care solutions that can be operational within hours, not weeks. Our first output is the Infectious Disease Treatment Module (IDTM), a rapidly deployable, inflatable critical care unit that can be built and fully functional within 24 hours, even in remote settings. It gives responders immediate treatment capacity at the moment it matters most, with the potential to save many lives.
