Our ‘Ode to Water’ film celebrates the power of clean water. Everything we love starts with water, from your dog, your car, and your uncle’s midlife crisis to the small miracle of keeping us alive. Today, nearly one in ten people globally still live without access to safe water close to home, leaving them vulnerable to the worst impacts of climate change, disease, and poverty. Help us tackle the water crisis by donating £2 a month. Money raised through our appeal will help provide life-saving clean water to communities in Taranty Bas and Ankilimiary in Madagascar’s deep south, an area facing a long-term drought made worse by climate change. Nearly half the population lives without reliable access to clean water. Without this vital resource, families are at risk from drought and disease, while women and girls often miss out on school and work because they must walk long distances to collect water, sometimes from unsafe sources.
