22 May 2026 - This Biodiversity Day, we are reminded that global impact begins with local action. As the world reaches the halfway point to the 2030 deadline for the targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, accelerated action at all levels is needed to halt biodiversity loss, restore ecosystems and ensure the sustainable use of nature. Ahead of CBD COP 17 in Yerevan this October, we need to seize the moment to turn commitments into action, scale up solutions and support change where it matters most: on the ground, with all of us.
