This webinar was part of the Communities of Practice Webinar Series, hosted by the CBD Secretariat to support the implementation of the KMGBF and the mainstreaming of biodiversity within and across sectors. Co-organized by the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC) and the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM), this webinar addressed how different actors can contribute to creating enabling conditions for the responsible management of biodiversity in the mining sector, with examples of actions on biodiversity being taken by mining companies.
