The Legal Gateway Office in India was launched in New Delhi on 18 February 2026. Indian Minister of External Affairs Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and European Commission Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen led the launch, with ICMPD Director General Susanne Raab. The Legal Gateway Office in India is designed as a one-stop hub to provide information and support the movement of students, researchers, and professionals from India to the EU, focusing on the ICT sector.
