Technology can empower, but it can also harm. 

At our Youth Panel on Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV), young voices shared how online spaces often put women, girls, and persons with disabilities at risk.

From stigma and victim-blaming to harmful algorithms, the panel showed that digital spaces aren’t always safe and that change requires more than awareness. We need accessible hotlines, inclusive tech, and systems that protect everyone.

Creating safe online spaces demands accountability, empathy, and collective action.
