The Space Norms Atlas is the first comprehensive overview of emerging norms for space security. In this report, Research Fellow Louis Reitmann maps 150 norms, based on 1,200+ data points from 13 years of UN processes on the prevention of an arms race in outer space (PAROS). The Space Norms Atlas illustrates States’ expectations for behaviours that contribute to stability and reduce the risk of armed conflict in space and highlights which norms enjoy broad international support to inform ongoing discussions.
