Middle East conflict drives up food insecurity - WFP

The Middle East conflict continues to reverberate around the world, warns the UN World Food Programme (WFP).
- In Somalia, 2.5 million won't be able to afford a basic food basket. 
- In Afghanistan, 2.3 millon will fall into acute food insecurity. 
- In Sri Lanka, 1.3 millon won't manage to meet their food needs.
