From 6 to 8 December 2024, West Africa Network for Peacebuilding and the National Peace Council, Ghana hosted an Election Situation Room (ESR) as part of the 2024 General Elections in Ghana. This initiative, under the EU-funded project Electoral Violence Monitoring, Analysis and Mitigation (E-MAM), monitored and responded to violent threats, contributing to a peaceful electoral process on 7 December. WANEP and the NPC deployed 510 election observers across all 16 regions of Ghana.
