UNOPS Executive Director Jorge Moreria da Silva, who is leading the UN Task Force for the Srait of Hormuz, told UN News that a new UN ‘one-stop platform’ to support safe passage of vital fertilizers through the Strait of Hormuz can be ready to go in 7 days. 

With the planting season begun, there’s no time to lose.
