This is a recording from the DHIS2 Annual Conference 2026. How do Chap and DHIS2 support malaria programmes to improve the use of climate data with forecasting, modeling and machine learning techniques? In this session, participants will learn from countries like Togo, Rwanda and Malawi who are using Chap and DHIS2 to understand the effectiveness of malaria interventions, improve the delivery of malaria prevention and treatment services, detect outbreaks before they happen and mitigate the impact of climate change on malaria transmission. We will also share how specific DHIS2 climate health tools, features and functionalities can be applied to answer the biggest questions facing malaria programme managers today. *Note: this parallel session is also a part of the DHIS2 Climate Health Academy program.
