Tracker to Aggregate Using Program Indicator Disaggregation #DAC2026
Aggregate data can be created from tracker data for ease and speed of analytics reporting. Program Indicator disaggregation was introduced in DHIS2 v42 to simplify and speed up the process of creating aggregate data with disaggregation dimensions (category option combinations and/or attribute option combinations) from tracker data.
In addition to its use for tracker to aggregate transfers, Program Indicator disaggregation also allows a program indicator with added dimensions to be used directly in DHIS2 analytics. This eliminates the need to define a different program indicator for each disaggregation.
This session presents the Program Indicator disaggregation feature and how to use it. It also presents the difference that this feature has made in a real HISP South Africa tracker to aggregate implementation.
