This is a recording from the DHIS2 Annual Conference 2026. Country demand for real-time early warning systems that improve the prevention, detection and response to climate sensitive disease outbreaks is growing exponentially. The DHIS2 suite of climate health tools and the Chap modeling platform provide shared infrastructure for implementing an EWS, even in low-resource settings. Yet, barriers to operationalizing these systems persist, limiting the potential these systems have to mitigate the impact of these diseases on vulnerable populations. This session highlights lessons learned from Laos, Nepal and South Sudan and invites discussion on collaboration towards practical, shareable solutions.
