This is a recording from the DHIS2 Annual Conference 2026. This panel will ask how DHIS2 can strengthen the registries that underpin national cancer control. WHO will open with a global perspective, situating the need for interoperable, high-quality registry data to inform national cancer plans and progress toward global cancer targets. Cancer registry leaders from Rwanda and Kenya will share their experiences building population-based and hospital-based cancer registries on DHIS2 Tracker, covering tumor data validation, integration, and the challenges of completeness and sustainability.
