UNMISS engineers restore washed-out roads, enhancing safety and accessibility in Malakal

In Upper Nile, #SouthSudan, flooding has devastated an area already struggling with extreme economic hardship. An #UNMISS team of #Indian peacekeeping engineers has successfully rehabilitated a 154-kilometer road, including 120 kilometers of new alignment and 34 kilometers along the old main supply route. Their efforts will enhance safety, boost trade, and support peacebuilding efforts in this region, which has endured decades of conflict and underinvestment. #A4P #InvestInPeace Video: Samson Liberty/UNMISS
