4th EMSA WS on Alternative Fuels & Powering Solutions for Shipping & Ports 16-17 Feb. 2026 Day 2
On 16 and 17 February, EMSA will hold a workshop on alternative fuels and power solutions for shipping and ports, which will be streamed live from our Lisbon headquarters. On 16 February, the results of two study series, one on hydrogen as a fuel and one on ammonia as a fuel, will be presented. This will be followed by a panel discussion. Also presented on 16 February will be the EMSA Guidance on battery systems and AFVs. On 17 November, two new studies, one on On-Board Carbon Capture and another on Hull Air Lubrication Technologies will be presented.
