The International Organization for Migration was proud to support the Edo State Government in its efforts to prevent human trafficking and promote safe, orderly, and regular migration. Following the success of Phase 1, MMDP 2.0 (Managing Migration through Development Programme) was implemented with the support of the Government of Italy. The second phase focused on five key pillars: 🔹Return and Reintegration 🔹Promoting Regular Migration 🔹Eradicating Human Trafficking and Supporting Victims 🔹Preventing Human Trafficking and Promoting Livelihoods 🔹Sustainable Partnerships and Coordination Together with Edo State and several stakeholders, IOM contributed to creating sustainable solutions that empowered communities and supported vulnerable populations throughout the program’s implementation.
