Following the devastating floods in Mozambique, our dedicated emergency relief team of water, logistics, and health specialists was deployed to Chókwè district in the south of the country. 🇲🇿 Our mission: to improve access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene at Chókwè Regional Hospital, and to help prevent and prepare for potential outbreaks of infectious diseases. What we accomplished: ✅ Installed handwashing stations for patients, staff, and visitors ✅ Distributed essential hygiene and cleaning supplies to the hospital ✅ Enhanced medical waste management ✅ Provided protective equipment to frontline healthcare staff ✅ Trained and supported healthcare workers to help prevent the spread of diseases like cholera Now that our mission has ended, we extend heartfelt thanks to our outstanding emergency relief team, the exceptional staff of Chókwè Regional Hospital, and Aktion Deutschland Hilft e.V.​​ for making this vital support possible.
