After the recent heavy attacks on civilian infrastructure, the situation in hashtag#Ukraine remains dire. Many people are facing prolonged power and heating outages. With freezing temperatures, families are sitting in darkness, doing everything they can to stay warm. From Lviv, Mohammed El Hajj, our Country Director in Ukraine, shares how this situation is affecting people’s mental well being. Together with our partner organisations, we stand by the people of Ukraine. We provide mental health and psychosocial support to help individuals cope with the ongoing stress. We have also distributed winter kits and solid fuel to help families face the harsh winter.
