What does “safe” mean to you? That is what we asked our colleagues around the globe – and here’s what they shared. On 20 June is #WorldRefugeeDay. According to the latest UN report, at the end of 2025, nearly 118 million people worldwide were forcibly displaced due to war, violence, and persecution. But too often, they do not find the safety they are seeking. This year, World Refugee Day highlights the right to seek safety. We all have a role to play. Protecting people forced to flee saves lives, strengthens communities, and upholds dignity. Until everyone is safe, we show up. Until everyone is safe, the work is not done. Are you with us?
