Down to zero
Côte d’Ivoire is starting to win the battle against parasitic worm diseases. Round worm, hook worm and whip worm cause a disease known as soil-transmitted helminthiasis. Now, only one district remains highly-infected with these parasites. With continued treatment, Côte d’Ivoire could get this number down to zero.
From 8 to 15 July, your donation to our Down to Zero campaign will be doubled, meaning your support goes twice as far.
With the funds raised, we aim to treat up to 425,000 children aged 5-14 across seven health districts, including the final district highly infected with soil-transmitted helminthiasis.
