GAT: a tool for tracking progress on NTD 2030 goals

How do we stay on track to eliminate neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) by 2030? The World Health Organization's (WHO) NTD roadmap for 2030 sets ambitious global targets, but achieving them requires more than numbers alone. The Gap Assessment Tool (GAT) offers a unique, qualitative approach that captures insights from researchers, programme managers, and WHO experts to understand what’s slowing progress and how to accelerate it. Led by Unlimit Health in close coordination with WHO, the GAT aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the progress achieved to date, identify emerging challenges, and recommend strategic measures to ensure progress. It helps countries take ownership and move closer to achieving the 2030 targets. #NeglectedTropicalDiseases #NTDs #GlobalHealth #PublicHealth #HealthEquity #UniversalHealthCoverage #SustainableDevelopmentGoals #HealthSystemsStrengthening MORE ABOUT UNLIMIT HEALTH: 🌐 Website: https://unlimithealth.org/ 📩 Join our mailing list: https://unlimithealth.org/join ❤️ Support our work: https://unlimithealth.org/donate/ STAY IN TOUCH: X: https://x.com/unlimit_health LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/unlimithealth Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/unlimit_health
