Tackling parasitic disease in Zanzibar

Some highlights from a mass drug administration (MDA) at Kidongo Chekundu School in Zanzibar.  

Pupils received albendazole, ivermectin, and praziquantel for the treatment of schistosomiasis, soil-transmitted helminthiasis, and lymphatic filariasis.

This MDA was led by the Ministry of Health with funding and technical assistance from Unlimit Health.
