Anadi ko roti is a popular dish in the Tharu community which is cooked especially in Anatwa and Atwari (Just before Krishna Janmashtami’s Sunday ). This is served during fasting and shared among the mothers, daughters and sisters. It is believed that consuming Anadi’s roti in winter keeps our body warm. It is basically eaten with sugar or jaggery.
