"القانون يحمي.. والمجتمع يمنع"هو عنوان المائدة المستديرة التي نفذتها هيئة بلان إنترناشيونال إيجيبت في إطار مشروع "صحتنا قرارنا"، بالتعاون مع المجلس القومي للطفولة والأمومة، لمناقشة سبل تجريم زواج الأطفال وتعزيز دور القانون والمجتمع في حماية حقوق الأطفال. وشهدت المائدة المستديرة نقاشات ثرية جمعت عددًا من الخبراء والمعنيين بقضايا الطفولة، حيث تم تسليط الضوء على أهمية تكاتف الجهود بين الجهات الحكومية، ومنظمات المجتمع المدني، وصناع القرار، من أجل القضاء على زواج الأطفال وضمان مستقبل أكثر أمانًا وعدالة للفتيات والفتيان. “The Law Protects… and Society Prevents” This was the title of the roundtable organized by Plan International Egypt within the framework of the “Our Health, Our Decision” project, in collaboration with the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, to discuss the criminalization of child marriage and the role of both legal frameworks and communities in protecting children’s rights.
