Taiz Governorate, Yemen, has endured years of conflict, displacement, and disease. As one of the hardest-hit areas by cholera outbreaks since 2016, the region continues to suffer due to damaged sewage systems, contaminated water, and limited healthcare access. CARE Yemen with funding from the European Union Humanitarian Aid (EU), raises awareness on the causes of cholera and practical steps to prevent its spread.
