In Taiz Governorate, Yemen, many rural communities have been struggling with access to clean water. With support from the European Union, CARE has rehabilitated four water wells in rural Taiz, provided 400 water points in Taiz city, for clean and drinkable water for four months through water trucking, benefiting 37,707 families in the three targeted districts of Taiz. The Cleaning Fund was also supported in its work to conduct cleaning campaigns in three districts of Taiz.
